Dear Courtney Crimsen,
I don't understand you fascination with Hannah having a peeping tom. Why is that so great? Is it because you like having everybody's attention. I also think that saying what you did at Hannah's that night was to try and catch the peeping tom, but there was no need to repeat that comment after that night. Maybe if you were telling the story of that night to another person, but still it was nobody's business what happened that night. So when you asked Hannah to go to that party was it because you needed a ride or that you really wanted to hangout with Hannah. I think that it is because you needed a ride. Why do I think that? Well, when you hopped into her car you said "Thanks for the ride." And once you arrived to the party, you basically ditched Hannah. While she was standing outside, a guy came over to her. She thought that maybe this guy was interested in her. So I'm betting that her spirits were lifted a little. That changed very quickly. Hannah found out that you said that she had some interesting things in her dresser draw. Why do you think that you had the right to say that? That's right, you don't. It is girls like you that make high school a living hell. You think that you can say anything and get away with it. Well, guess what? Your wrong. Obviously you can't because you were Hannah's tapes. So maybe next time you decide to talk about someone else maybe you should stop. Think. And process what is about to come out of your mouth. Then maybe people will like you a whole lot more. Just some advice for you.

My emotions in the text
While reading this section of the text, it took me back to high school. Towards the end of the text Hannah was at a party with Courtney and she said that Hannah had some interesting toys in her dresser at home. A boy over heard that and thought that Hannah would be easy. Back in high school everybody believed what they heard about me, just like the boy did with Hannah. Hannah fought back, but I didn't. I fell back in to the background of school and just tried not to have too much attention put on me. I felt like I could relate to Hannah in that part of the text. It is very hard in high school, but it is even harder if people just start believing what they hear about you and don't take the time to get to know you. My emotions while reading this was sadness and sympathy. I feel bad for anyone who has to go through high school like that.

Explain the significance of the title- week 4
Thirteen Reasons Why
When you first see this title, you may not be too interested. It is not a really catchy title, but read the back of the book. Once you read the back of the book, you will understand the chosen title. A girl, Hannah Baker, commits suicide. She makes thirteen tapes for the reasons why she did what she did. Once you begin to read the book, you discover that on each side of the tapes there is a certain person that helped the snowball aspect of her life. She gives stories that includes each person on the tape and what happened in those situations to affect her. All of these stories kind of go together because it was on situation, which you find out at the beginning, that set the rest of the story in to motion. The reason for the title is because there are thirteen tapes and thirteen reasons (people) why she commits suicide.
