Week Three: Types of Novels

I really haven't read much. When I started to read I choose a book called A Child Called It. I like reading about other peoples struggles and how they over come them. I continued reading books similar to A Child Called It, until my senior year. During my senior year of high school, I took an american novel class. In this class, I read One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, The Great Gatsby, Farhenheit 451, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. I enjoyed all of these different types of books. The Great Gatsby was sort of a love story, Farhenheit 451 was about how books were outlawed, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was just about a stuborn kid. One of my favorite books of all time was One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. This is one of my favorite books because it is about people in an insane ward and the events that happen in the ward once a man McMurphy is admitted. So I guess you could say that I enjoy reading about personal experiences and suspensful books.
